Founded in 1860, it is one of the most famous breweries in Shiga Prefecture. It brews dignified and elegant sake using brewing water from the Aichi River in the Suzuka Mountains, which is sucked up from 120 meters underground. It has won many awards at the National New Sake Competition and IWC. It has a mild Ginjo aroma, gentle aroma and calm taste. The soft taste makes it suitable for a wide range of dishes. As the name "Raku" implies, it can be enjoyed in a relaxed and carefree manner for everyday use.
