3 types of very different shochu in a set! Akugare Shirokoji is a standard sweet potato shochu made from Kogane Sengan sweet potato and white koji, recommended to be enjoyed with hot water, cold water or on the rock. Akugare Blue Gokokumai is a unique one that is made from barley, Awa, Hie, Kibi, soy and rice! This one is quite light and airy, a fun shochu to be served with hot water, cold water or soda water. The third bottle, Akugare 14° Excellent Blend is a low-alcohol type; the shochu is pre-mixed with the best amount of water by the brewery. Try it chilled or warmed on its own! By pre-mixing and letting it settle, shochu and water particles integrate much better, giving it a softer, mellower mouthfeel. All crafted with pride by Akugare Distillery, Miyazaki Prefecture.
