This is a low-alcohol brown sugar shochu that has a more traditional flavour profile with gentle aromas of molasses, toasted rice and a sensual muskiness. Slightly lighter bodied shochu, there are hints of dark fruits, caramel, black tea and dark roasted coffee. It is recommended to dilute with hot water to open up the brown sugar sweetness. Crafted by Asahi Distillery in Kikai Island, Kagoshima Prefecture.
